Metaphysics: Techniques for Ascension


The number one ascension technique is breathing.

Various forms of breathing, including pranayamas, rebirthing, primal therapy, holotropic breathwork, breath of fire, kundalini meditation and Kriya yoga, all make contributions to your well-being and ascension if used properly.  Some of these techniques, such as Kriya, can be abused or over-used, so we suggest you proceed with caution and do not overdo it.

Ka mea nana i hana (whatever your heart looks to, it creates).  If you focus on ascension, you attract the necessary tools and environments for ascension to take place.

At first, you might need to purify and cleanse old outdated belief systems and go through emotional healing. It might be necessary to overcome addictions, perhaps to “comfort” foods, drink, etc. A certain amount of trial and error may seem to be involved when creating a regimen for ascension.  Remember that all ascension symptoms involve forms of resistance to the higher frequencies that are coming into your body, emotions and mind.

If you are feeling a lot of strange sensations in your body, you are not feeling the increased energy of ascension, you are feeling the resistance. Lowering your resistance to things in life is the key.  In order to move forward, you must first accept where you are now. This may seem obvious, but a lot of souls have not fully accepted the here and now before they begin their conscious path of ascension.

If you do not fully understand something, it is very difficult to overcome it. Learn why people do the things they do on Earth. Do not be satisfied with surface motivations, but look for the deeper issues.  On your path of ascension, learn how to come to peace with the way things are here before you spend a lot of time and energy trying to force yourself to grow faster than your soul wants.  Of course, the opposite problem occurs among the vast majority of those who are still asleep.  Despite the obvious problems in their lives, they continue to think things will change even if they do not change.  According to one psychologist, insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.

Learn to recognize when you have become locked into an old pattern of behavior or thinking. Be completely honest.  As you become more and more present with yourself, you will reduce your resistance to the energies of ascension and can focus more on bringing the higher frequencies down into your body.  Another important concept here is that physical bodies do not like sudden change. The body is the last part of you to embrace ascension. Be patient and gentle with it.
